About Cinzia
Cinzia started cooking when she was 5 and learned everything from her Grandmother (who still cooks at 97s!). When she is not cooking, eating or writing on her blog, Cinzia LOVES going to the market where she gets so many cooking hints from the local farmers (her best friends!) on how to use their super fresh and seasonal products.
Cinzia is a wine sommelier, certified extra virgin olive oil taster and Marketing consultant to many food and wine companies. She also writes for food and wine magazines.
Before starting Stile Mediterraneo, Cinzia earned an MBA from Harvard in Boston and worked for many years in Marketing & Finance in Milan, London, New York.
Favorite food: Marika’s famous pear jam made with our parents pears.
Favorite ingredient: very fruity extra virgin olive oil.
About Marika
Marika is a Cardiologist at the Lecce hospital.
She loves telling our guests why the Mediterranean cuisine is so healthy for the heart.
When she is not working at the hospital, she loves going to the fishmarket and enjoy the freshest seafood with a glass of wine.
Her passions include: planting and experimenting with herbs and spices in the kitchen; photography.
